There's also a running race a little longer than a half marathon that same weekend. It's a full lap of both the F1 circuit and the Nordschleife.

I was texting my buddy to tell him about this, since we both used to be cyclists (and he still kind of is) and we are both into automotive things. My phone wanted to autocorrect "Nurburgring" to "burnout grinch". Kind of makes sense.

I've had my wing mirrors taken off 3 times by cyclists flying down my street, as it is near a cycle way. It's like every ride to work is the Tour De Footpath.
